ABOUT DR. WONNACOTT

Dr Monica

Dr. Monica Wonnacott is a board certified pediatrician practicing in Riverton, Utah. She finds helping kids feel more comfortable at the doctor and educating parents about caring for their well and sick kids the most rewarding aspect of being a pediatrician. A mom herself, Dr. Wonnacott understands the joy of watching children grow up. She loves working with new parents as they develop confidence in caring for a new baby. She appreciates the innocence and honesty of the young child. There isn’t a day that goes by that Dr. Wonnacott isn’t laughing with parents over something their child said. She recognizes the unique opportunity to develop a relationship of trust with an adolescent that allows her to educate teens about making smart and healthy decisions.

Dr. Wonnacott believes in the importance of staying educated on the latest scientific research and keeping up to date on recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics. She believes that the art of medicine is in the details, being accessible to patients, and the personal touch. She loves great food, travel, theater, and spending time with her family.
